You'd think that since it's school holidays, my life would be completely worry-free and I'd be having the time of my life. You'd think. But no, it's the complete opposite. I, for one, have not been worry-free for the past week and am not having the time of my life!

Oh yes, I'm a huge whinger :D I don't normally complain much, but this week has been so hectic. I've been buying last minute Christmas presents for my family and friends for the past week. One word - tiring. You'd think that I was smart enough to bring a list along, so that I know what to buy. I did the exact opposite. It is a miracle I actually finished in the end. Note to Self: Always buy Christmas presents beforehand. And bring a list.

In the midst of all that, I managed to squeeze in some time for reading. New Moon, Stephenie Meyer's second book of the 'Twilight' series. I must say that it's not as good as Twilight, and I found that it was too Jacob-centered. I also don't like the fact that her vamps 'sparkle', unlike other vamps, but I can see that she's just trying to put a new vampire figure out there. or make her story a little different. And no, I'm not stereotyping, I'm just saying. I like my vamps dark and non-'sparkly'.

For now, I'm just reading it as a romantic story, and not associating the whole 'vampire' thing in this. It's pretty good, but I'd choose a James Bond novel over it anyday.
