Went to watch New Moon last night with a couple of friends. And my verdict?

It was great. It wasn't the best movie of the century. It wasn't the best movie ever. But it was good. I loved the bits between Bella and her father. It could be because I loved the father's character in the first installment all along, and in this one, it really showed his fatherly love for Bella. Which really touched me. And as for Edward and Bella, never been better.

The action bits were pretty awesome too. I mean, I'm pretty much one of those I'd-rather-go-see-an-action-flick-a-thousand-times-than-go-see-a-chick-flick type of girl. Considering that the Twilight Saga is not really about the action, but more on romance, Chris Weitz did a pretty darn good job of it. I really liked how they did New Moon - not so much panning, or awkwardness. In saying that, Twilight was a great adaptation of the book, but after watching it several times, you start to find faults with it.

I hope you'd all enjoy New Moon. To those that expect a full on vampire action film, don't. We all know by now that the Twilight Saga is not about vampires, but forbidden romance. New Moon, in my opinion, was good, and the Twilight fans will really like this one.
